Don't heistate to call or email for an appointment.  Some folks say they don't want to bother us with an appointment.  On the contrary, it is much easier for us to work by appointment.  It gives us the flexibility we need to make "family first," and still make sure that you get the books you need at great prices. So, please, please,please, feel free to make an appointment.  We are delighted to serve the homeschool community in this way. We hope this will be best for everyone and give us the flexibility to serve you more efficiently.   We are now open by appointment only! We do not live far from the store, so we can hop right over, but please give us a one day notice.   If we are not on the road or doing camps, we will be happy to meet you there. Bring your friends take a ell-deserved “day off” to visit Landrum, where you will find plenty of antiques, quaint shops, delicious food, and a beautiful view of the mountains. If you want to bring the whole family, plan a field trip. You could visit Pearson’s Falls, the F.E.N.C.E. Equestrian & Nature  Center,  or picnic at Harmon Field (fenced in playground, fields, walking trails, and a gorgeous mountain stream for splashing.) It is worth the drive.   We will also be announcing periodic sales! We will have certain days set aside to be open.  We will strive to announce them ahead, but we might throw in a few last minute surprises as our schedule allows. Just check the website. We are planning to have extended hours the last week of July and the first week of August, and we will be open Tax Free Weekend. Stay tuned.   We are also taking the Book-Train on the road. Some folks prefer to come in and browse while others hesitate to make the drive, so we are coming to you.  We will be traveling around the upstate. Our first trip will be Friday, June 6, 2008.  If you have books to consign or you want us to deliver your order, then call or email us by Monday, June 2.  We will plan our route according to responses. We will let you know when and where we will be.  If you are willing for us to use your home or garage as a stopping point, you will get to choose one free book from our selection of literature and teacher helps.
